Your child's first school matters. Use this checklist to ask the right questions.
When you visit a pre-school, look for:
- Teachers who get down to child eye level
- Play-based learning, not worksheets
- Safety: CCTV, trained staff, clean washrooms
- Small class sizes (ideally under 20)
- Daily reports sent to parents
Trust your gut. A warm, calm environment is worth more than any brochure.
